Her name is Ella.
The door to the studio opened one day unannounced and a man introduced himself as "Vincent" Looking around, he proudly said his wife was pregnant and was due in a few months. He was interested in my work. We talked for a bit and he left with card in hand. Four months later the phone rings and Vincent and Jamie are as happy as could be. Baby "Ella" had arrived a few days ago and when could I come out to the house?
The bottles were lined up on the kitchen sink, the house was a peaceful quiet. Fresh pink laundry was folded near the couch. For the second time, I met Vincent. This time his smile was bigger than the sun. Explaining that his wife was feeding the baby, I couldn't wait to meet the new addition.
Welcome to the world baby Ella. Nine days old and you are clearly the light of Vincent and Jamie's eyes.
